Donations we do not accept...

 

We do not accept soiled items of any description.

 

If in doubt about any item you would like to donate please send a message through our FaceBook page, The Fire Place.

Skis and Golf Clubs

 

Despite being expensive items they do not sell well.

 

Exercise machines

 

Small bikes and stair steppers are great.

Treadmills must be in working order.

Furniture that is broken, damaged or missing pieces or for a nursery such as cribs.

 

Please call ahead to ensure we have room to accommodate items as the shop space is limited

Encyclopedias and periodicals

 

 

These items become outdated quickly and are difficult to sell. We also cannot take any books with water damage or mould because of health risks.

Stained or worn bedding, sheets, towels or pillows/cases

 

All fabric items, drapes cushions, table cloths etc must be clean

 

Mattresses and futons

 

Includes futon frames and sleeper sofas.

Helmets and Car seats

We can not guarantee that they are not expired so we can not sell them.

Kitchen Cabinets, building materials, and used paint

 

Sorry not enough room

 

Large appliances

 

Includes stoves, washer/dryers, etc. We are unable to test and store these items.
